Abstract: This study examines the transformation of information behavior and digital media practices among refugees during resettlement. Displaced from their home countries, refugees must navigate unfamiliar linguistic and cultural environments while reconstructing their social and informational lives. The research investigates the types of information sought, communication patterns, and the selection of specific information and communication technologies—including social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, and TikTok. It further explores users' motivations and potential demographic variations by age and gender. Data were gathered through an online questionnaire, semi-structured interviews, and content analysis of a refugee-oriented digital platform.
