Abstract: Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structures are implicit surfaces with zero mean curvature and high specific surface area. With the rise of additive manufacturing, they have gained attention in thermal management. This paper numerically investigates TPMS structures for turbine vane trailing edge cooling, comparing pin fins, lattice structures, and Gyroid TPMS.
