| Abstract: | We report the optimization results of high-order harmonic generation (HHG) in laser-produced gold plasma. The time-resolved spectra and images of gold plasma enabled the determination of its expansion velocity ( 2 * 104m/s), electron density (3 *1016 cm -3), and electron temperature (0.8eV) at the optimal f luence of 150 ps heating pulses. Under the seconditions, HHG up to the 53 rd harmonic order was achieved with a conversion efficieny of 1*10-5. |
