Green Banking and Green Central Banking

Abstract

The publication explores key aspects of the "green" financial system, including issues of financing the transition to a low-carbon economy, changes in bank balance sheets, as well as sources of financing. In addition, the role of capital markets is being considered, especially in providing financing for industries in need of "green" investments, in relation to EU countries. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the transition to a low-carbon economy and the role of central banks in this process.

В издании исследуются ключевые аспекты «зелёной» финансовой системы, включая вопросы финансирования перехода к низкоуглеродной экономике, изменения балансов банков, а также источников финансирования. Кроме того, рассматривается роль рынков капитала, особенно в обеспечении финансирования отраслей, нуждающихся в «зелёных» инвестициях, применительно к странам ЕС. Особое внимание уделяется анализу перехода к низкоуглеродной экономике и роли центральных банков в этом процессе.
