Gilbert Friedell Rozman is an American sociologist specializing in Asian studies. Analyzing the relations between key East Asian countries over three decades, Rozman shows how international relations in the region can be understood using the triangle model. He argues that triangles provide a convincing answer to the question of whether we have entered a new era of bipolarity, similar to the Cold War era, or the era of multipolarity.
