Waste Management and Environment VIII contains papers presented at the 8th International Conference on Waste Management and the Environment, organized every two years by the Wessex Institute. The materials have been prepared by professionals, researchers, government departments and local authorities and cover the current waste management situation. Waste management is one of the key problems of modern society due to the ever-increasing volume and complexity of household and industrial waste.
