Theoretical and Methodological Aspects of Managing Smart Cities Development in Digital Economy

Abstract

The object of the study is road traffic in the Samara city.The thesis is devoted to assessment of methods of managing Road System in Samara City to make conclusion for possibility to use them to minimize road jams. A new approach to motion control based on the Wardrop Traffic Model was proposed. Recommendations for its implementation on the bridge across the Samara River are given. A computer simulation of the existing intersection of streets, recommendations to increase the capacity of the crossroad were proposed.
