| Abstract: | In the manufacturing process, various structural defects appear in the material of the parts, causing the crystal lattice distortions and the formation of internal - residual stresses. It is known that the division of the residual stress into I, II and III types is conditional. All these stresses are interconnected and caused by the crystal lattice distortions. The paper presents a theoretical and experimental substantiation of the effect of non-linearity of material temperature characteristics with internal stresses and considers its application for monitoring residual stresses and predicting the dimensional stability of materials, as well as improving the technological processes of manufacturing critical parts in order to improve their accuracy and dimensional stability. |
