Abstract: The purpose of the work is to increase the accuracy of confirmation and reduce the test time for a long service life in ground conditions by increasing the load on the afterburner above the operational values. The work relates to transport engineering and aviation engine building and is applicable for ground tests of the afterburner combustion chamber at stands and airfields. The air supply is disconnected from the afterburner fuel flow regulator due to the gas turbine engine compressor, and the process air supply from the autonomous power supply system is connected to it through the pressure regulator, while the process air pressure at the outlet of the pressure regulator from the autonomous power supply system is changed compared to the air pressure behind the gas turbine engine compressor according to the program for increasing fuel consumption through the afterburner the combustion chamber is higher than the operational values. The process air pressure is changed N = k · R/T times, where k is the average
