| Abstract: | The problem of the turbine rim cavities sealing and the definition of the radial clearance of the labyrinth seals in the turboshaft engine secondary air system is considered. The sufficient air supply for sealing the rim cavities is necessary to reduce the gas ingress into the turbine rim cavities and achieve the acceptable temperature of the turbine parts. The air supply is controlled by changing the radial clearance of the seals in the turbine secondary air system. |
