Abstract

There is an opinion that emotions and feelings are different grades of emotional sphere of men's world reflection. At the same time they are so alike that some scientists can’t differentiate them and use these notions as equivalents. And there is a distinction between emotiveness and emotions - they are psychological and language categories accordingly, emotions transform into emotiveness on the language level. While investigating lexical material it's important to distinguish words, which nominate emotions, and emotive words.
