| Abstract: | Results of the experimental study of comparative word-combinations without formal indcators of comparison are presented in the paper. The author describes models of these syntactic structures and comes to the conclusion that centripetal and centrifugal functions ofthe «knot» -word organize the components of the word-combination into a unit with the comparating meaning. |
