Актуализация концепта «Судьба» в английском языке

Abstract

The article deals with the concept of fate as part of English culture; it focuses on the main lexical units used in the English language to denote this concept with special emphasis on the changes some of them have undergone in the course of language development beginning with W. Shakespeare. The author of the article draws attention to the problem of stereotypes which may result in biased interpretation of language phenomena.
