Abstract:	The paper considers engineering and processing methods that could ensure a specified durability and lifetime of doted joints/assemblies. Research shows the use of mandrelling to harden the holes, the results of tests of aluminum alloy V95Tsamples with a free mandrelling holes 8 mm in diameter showed that mandrelling holes with interference 3,0-3,5% increase the durability of the samples is about 3-5 times.
