| Abstract: | This work contains the results of comparative studies of subsonic airflow near stationary and rotating cylinders as well as wing with rotor slat. It was shown that it is possible to increase lift and/or reduce drag of such wing adjusting the relative rotor speed. Smoke visualizations of airflow and PIV study of velocity fields were done. |
