Radio navigation theory and radars

The aim of this course is that the students were able to describe radars and explain how they are used to detect remote objects, assess their performance, understand radar signal processing foundations, to have some knowledge about radio propagation effects for radar and radionavigation systems, and a critical review of former ground based navaid systems.
