dc.description.abstract	The application of the rolling bearings as the GTE rotors supports is associated with high oil consumption and low life time. The design and operational features of the presented journal bearing allow it to be successfully used as a support for the aircraft engines and power plants rotors. The article presents the results of an analytical and CED study of the pad journal bearing performance. Analysis of simulation results showed that heat dissipation in the low-flow journal bearing is acceptable.
