dc.description.abstract	The paper presents the results of computer modeling by the finite elements method of thermoplastic hardening of the cylindrical surface of the hole in the disk. The residual stresses are determined by first solving the problem of cool¬ing the heated surface of the hole and then subsequently solving the elasto-plastic deformation problems.
