Abstract

The presents the description of the test rig for the conducting comparative tests of bevel orthogonal gears with different geometry. Application in conic Spur Gears Overlap more than two allowed increasing the bearing ability of transmission. The tests have revealed features of the destruction of the teeth for wheels with overlapping more than two. Two teeth have been immediately broken in engagement with a portion of the wheel rim.
