dc.description.abstractNew heat transfer intensifier submitted by the authors has been investigated. It differs from hemispherical dimple in that there is a stable vortex in each of its hollows. The intensity of the vortex is increased due to the diffuser shape of the dimple. Heat transfer from the surface with such dimples is 2.5...3 times more than from the surface with hemispherical dimples.
